Linux Island, Docker Harbour and Sandbox Atoll are free without one. Linux Highlands needs a free account (your email and a code, no password).

Can I skip levels?

Levels open in order, each one after the one before it, so you always have what the next one needs.

Is this a real Linux or Docker?

No. It is a simulation that answers like the real tools, so nothing can break and nothing runs on your computer.
